Clouds

I look at you
oh see of dreams
powder like the snow
floating through the skies
riding rainbow roads

So envious am I of you
the heavens, your domain
that should I once grow wings
I would travel just the same

We’re so alike
both you and I
just drifting in the wind
hoping that by chance
we might find the rainbow’s end

But I’ll tell you what
my floating friends
I’ll meet you down this road
And when our journey
comes to end
we’ll share that pot of gold.
