Let Go

No Applause Poetry

This poem was written during my time at the Monastery.

Love Me or Leave Me

No Applause Poetry

This poem was written and revised many times over the course of the last five years. I had left it in the “unfinished poetry file” which I finally got around to sorting through today. It’s obviously about K and I and it was written from K’s perspective as I saw it. Today is 12-05-91.

The Mindset

No Applause Poetry

This poem was finished on November 19, 1991. The inspiration came after watching a videotape of the movie “The Doors”. It seems that Jim Morrison has made an impact on me. However, reading it reminds me of Pink Floyd. In particular, “The Lunatic”.

The Final Word

No Applause Poetry

This poem was written on September 3, 1991 at “The Turf Club” in Las Vegas. It reminds me of a poem that I keep called “The Man in the Glass”. Perhaps that was the motivation.

The Sandman

No Applause Poetry

This poem was written on 7-14-91 (12:30 a.m.) at my mother’s house in Valencia, CA.

In Lieu of The Critic

No Applause Poetry

This poem was written on 6-23-91 at my uncle’s house in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Hampstead actually). I think it speaks for itself.

Days Of You

No Applause Poetry

This poem was finished on 6-16-91 at 1:15 a.m. The inspiration and title, Days of You, comes from the name of a band that a friend of mine, Leslie Goldblat, is in. The poem was written on my cousin’s computer in the basement of 38 Fairholt Rd. South, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Clouds

No Applause Poetry

Written on 6-1-91 (3:54 pm) in the car on the way to Canada. It was finished at the California / Nevada border.

Sea of Tranquility I

No Applause Poetry

The inspiration for this poem came from my Mgt. 497 class; specifically, the class discussions and the discussions that we had with our professor, Chuck Mathews.
